Ettrick and Yarrow Valleys Walking Route

This walking route through the Ettrick and Yarrow Valleys starts at Ettrick village. You can park at the village hall, from there you follow a minor road which then joins the Southern Upland Way. The route then leaves the Southern Upland Way and heads to Ruskinhope and along the shores of Loch of the Lowes.

This then leads to Tibbie Shiels Inn on the shore of St Mary's Loch before rejoining the Southern Upland Way heading back to the Ettrick Valley. Then head towards Craig Hill to see fine views of both up and down the Ettrick valley.
