Roberton Meadshaw to Craik Circular Walking Route

A leisurely walk, through coniferous woodland following the Borthwick Water upstream to the tiny settlement of Craik on the route of The Romans and Reivers Road.

Walking up the forest track into Meadshaw forest past the white farmhouse and farm buildings. Following the forest track through a metal barrier, turn left at the wooden finger post. The track follows alongside the Borthwick Water on the route of The Romans and Reivers Road.

Following the undulating path, crossing a small wooden pedestrian bridge, eventually you will find yourself overlooking the village of Craik in the valley below.

Follow the forest track, gently climbing through the trees before joining the forestry road, descending along the ridge line back to the start point.

If you know of a great trail around Hawick, why not share it with others by adding it to the Town of 1000 Trails?
