Roberton Alemoor via Whitslaid Circular Walking Route

A hill walk through heather moorland down into Ale Water passing Whitslaid cottage.

Leave B711 at sign for Easter Alemoor. Head down the hill and parking at Lay-by by the Damhead. Walking initially on the road, across the Damhead, make your way up to the beautifully situated Easter Alemoor farm. This walk is muddy in places with some streams to cross. A good walk to find heath species and plants with breathtaking views over The Hill Road to Roberton' (By Will Ogilvie). Not recommended to be done on a foggy day.
